You’ve dreamed of this day.

You will live this day. And then you will dream it again. These images will be a part of that dream.

They will be the guideposts along the way, which give you access to so many big and small memories. Not just of your wedding day, but of all the dear souls who shared it with you. I make photos of weddings because they are holy, sacred spaces. And so I am a wedding artist so that you may remember not just what this day looked like, but what it felt like.

I make photos because of the beating of our hearts, the breath in our bodies, the creases at the corners of our eyes. I make photos because this life is a fleeting and holy thing. I make photos because today is a beautiful day.

I make photos for you because although I know you will have so many incredible days in your life, on this particular day you have the opportunity to hire an artist to photograph you, as you are in this moment, surrounded by love and each other and the perfect timing of now.

I shoot in both a documentary and portrait style. Documentary, because even the smallest moment is holy, because each interaction is precious, because my photojournalism will give you access to so many things that are happening on your wedding day that you won’t always remember.

Portraiture, because a portrait has the creative potential to tell a story about you and your lover that we may not otherwise have a chance to pause, and tell. Its not just a portrait of you, its a portrait of this big good thing called LOVE.
